"The Perpetual Reserve NV. 02 is composed of 52% Pinot Noir, 41% Chardonnay, and 7% Pinot Meunier with 38 months in bottle on lees. This is half 2021 vintage and half reserve wine. The dosage is 6 g/l. It comes bounding out with exuberant notes of applesauce, lemon curd, and spice cake, leading to nuances of ripe pears and orange blossoms with a waft of honeycomb. The palate adeptly straddles finesse and opulence with a tight-knit structure and gregarious orchard fruit and spicy layers, delivering a racy backbone and very fine bubbles, finishing long and honey-laced."
